Our Therapy Assistants are an integral part of the Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology teams. The demand for this service has increased markedly and we are fortunate to have a team of highly skilled therapy assistants supporting our clients in many different ways in the community.

Our Allied Health Professionals from each team are able to delegate appropriate parts of a therapy program to the assistants and provide training, ongoing supervision and regular program reviews.

This may include:

• Assisting with exercise programs at home, gym or pool
• Assisting with communication programs
• Practicing important life skills such as money management or using public transport
• Practicing activities of daily living such as showering, cooking etc to promote greater independence

Our assistants are all experienced in their area of work and are key members of the Evolve team.
